Validity of 485 processing times on receipt

I was just wondering whether people who had 485 approvals in the recent past had their case processed within the processing times mentioned on their receipts or did it take more than that time.....

My 485 receipt says that it is taking from 365-540 days to process ....Can I expect an approval within that time frame or should I expect the processing to go beyond that.. ?

Hi,
You havent' given your details, so its hard to guess. In any case it would have been a guess since its very apparent that there is no logic where USCIS is concerned.

It may take over the processing time mentioned in your receipt notice. My RD is 09/04/2002, My receipt notice said the same 365 to 540 days, I am still waiting. I did my Second FP on July 28, 2004. I called USCIS last week, they told me to wait till 6 weeks after the second FP and If I dont' hear anything then I should request an inquiry since, i would also have completed 2yrs of I485 wait by then.
