The expiration date is on my wife's AP, it's not on yours?

I haven't decided the travel date, so I would like to know how long a AP will last before I submit the application. Thanks.

It's totally discretionary with the CIS. You have to explain things as best you can on your attachment to I-131, and hope that the CIS gives you enough time on the AP.
My wife's is good until about the time she should be receiving her green card, given the current backlog at SF.
