My friend and I applied for GC in march 1998. My pririty date was 03/13/1998 and his was 3/119/1998. Both were EB2. My RD and ND are
08/13/1999 and 9/8/1999. His were 8/25/1999 and 9/23/1999. I did my FP
on 7/26/2000. Until October he did not receive his FP notice. I told
him that there is definitely something wrong in that he did not receive it for so long. It turned out our lawyer received the notice on 8/1/2000, but never bothered to send him. He finally did his FP on 10/04/2000.
To our surprise, he found that his case was approved on 10/18/2000, two weeks after FBI sent his finger prints to INC vermont. I have an earlier ND, did my finger print in july and still waiting. I know there are plenty who have an earlier PD compared to mine are still waiting. I hope i dont have to wait for another year to get approved.
