vaccination, medicals, and fees

Dear forum

I was granted asylum in march 08, and now getting ready to apply for GC in march 09;

I read in I-485 instructions that the $950 fee is waived for refugees, do this apply to asylees???

Do I need to submit vaccination record and medical exam along with my application??

The fee is only waived for refugees

- Asylees must pay full price for the application.
- Only refugees are waived for paying the fee.
- If you don't want delays with your application, you must submit all the paperwork (medical, fees, waivers, etc).

Fees not waived for Asylees. However, you can apply the Travel document with your i485 together without additional charge.
You need find a USCIS certified doctor to do the medical form, it about $120-$150 in Los Angeles area, the doctor will tell you if you need do any vaccination.

which travel document can we apply together with the 1-485?

I am getting ready to apply, my date is jan 09 2009. Cheers
