Vacation - Effect on 485 Processing

Hi,
Please help me on these boring issues.9 months back my wife status got converted from H4 to H1-B Status. After that she worked for 4 months.and then she is on forced vacation. means her employer is not paying salary on Bench.Is there any effect on her I-485 Processing.

I-485 RD: Sep 2001
EAD: Starting from Nov 2001 onwards. So what can I do at this point.

My lawyer applied for I-485 under section 245(i) only for my wife to avoid unnecessary problems late

I don\'t know what will happen if you don\'t apply under section 245(i).
My lawyer told me that "She has violated her status but she is not out of status because the I-94 from H1-B will expire sometime in 2002". And we also applied for change of status I-539 prior to filing I-485. You should consult your lawyer.
