V visa and EAD

I have applied for V Visa(I-539,I-765,etc.)at the Chicago Center on 09/19/01,got the approval for the I-539 (11/15/01),but until now,no Employment authorization approval.INS Customer Service informed that I have to wait until 90 days have passed,then call back.As soon I have any news I will be posting here,all right?

I just received today an answer from MSC ...
telling me that my EAD was rejected.
This letter said that I was a child of a US Citizen (it\'s wrong). The MSC number in this letter was different from the MSC number in the INS receipt for my I-765, I received on November 19, 2001, too.
So I called the INS service center and the officer told me that according to the MSC I received today, it belongs to another person. And my I-765 according to the MSC original, is still pending.
I think it won\'t be the first time it happens...

Help needed for EAD on V visa
I applied for EAD in Sept on account of posssesing a V visa. I got the receipt notice ( form I- 797 C) with a receipt date of Sept. 20 and a notice date of Sept. 21. Submitted my fingerprints on Sept 27.
I tried to call the National Customer Service Center 1-800-375-5283 but could not get any info about the status of my case. I had mailed my application to the Chicago address but it has been more than 90 days.
I would appreciate any advise, especially from someone with a V visa who has applied for EAD.Thanks in advance.
