Using prior finger printing

Is it possible to use a prior finger printing (done for a different reason - secret clearance, IRS or similar purpose) for purposes of N-400 requirement? Or would it make your case any faster in terms of FBI response time to INS?

Does anyone know of a number to call the FBI to speak to someone regarding this? Thanks in anticipation of your feedback.

Cannot reuse. USCIS is the that sets up for FP not FBI. FBI's job is to only make sure that the FPs are not in their 'bad books'.

Not sure what is FBI's process in FP, but if they have done FP processing for someone in the (recent) past, shouldn't that expedite their processing for the new request since they already have that person's data in the system from the last FP enquiry?

I wasn't aware of that info. That means it isn't a big deal with the FP timeline from the FBI. Thanks for the info.

Hmmm. Now what is this name check? Is that part of similar queries during Secret clearance or IRS enquiries that can be "re-used" from prior query?
