Using I-140 from old employer (very unique situation)

Hello,

This is my US visa status history.

7/30/1998 to 12/31/2000 - Entered US on F1 Visa
8/12/2000 - Completion of MS Degree
9/13/2000 to 9/12/2001 - Employment Authorization Card
8/9/2001 to 8/8/2004 - H1B by Employer #1
August 2003 – laid off by Employer #1
8/3/2003 - H1B extension filing date by Employer 2
3/5/2004 to 8/13/2006 - H1B by Employer #2
6/2/2006 – Employer #2 PERM filing date
6/19/2006 - Employer #2 I-140 filing date
7/13/2006 - H1B extension filing by Employer #2, filed more than 365 days prior to maximum allowed time on H1B
8/14/2006 to 1/21/2009 - H1B by Employer #2
September 2007, laid off by Employer #2
9/13/2007 - H1B filing date by Employer #3
9/14/2007 to 9/3/2010 - H1B by Employer #3
1/12/2010 - Employer #3 PERM approval date
2/25/2010 - Employer #3 I-140 approval date {with June 2, 2006 priority date}
7/26/2010 - H1B extension filing by Employer #3
Current priority date is 08 May 2006. I am waiting for my priority to become current.

Employer #3 is going through some major re-org and so, being concerned about lay-offs, I interviewed with Employer #4 and they want to make an offer. But, they want to see if the I-140 by employer #2 can be used for this purpose. Employer #4 does not want to use the I-140 by employer #3 as far as possible. Has anyone had a similar experience or does anyone have any advice on the matter? Greatly appreciate your time!
