Using existing LC for substitute labor

Hi,
My company applied for I-140's for one of our former employee.
Can I make use of the same I-140 by submitting any amendments or can I make use of the same old LC and file for new I-140 and I-485 directly? If so what are the requirements or conditions that are needed to be fulfilled.
