My visa in the passport expires on 1st Nov 2005.
I am planning my India trip in December.
I got my EAD and AP (valid till may 2006) from company A.
I switched to company B ( using AC 21) doing h1b transfer instead of using EAD.(reason to maintain my h1b status to sponsor h4 for my future wife).
My question is while returning back from India in Dec, shall I use my AP to enter the US and still maintain my h1b status or I need to get visa stamping of my current h1b in my passport.Getting visa stampign in my passport is a big headache because of long (5 months) waiting time to get appointment at Chennai consulate.
Please help me in this regard.
