Using 245(i) after 485 has been filed -Help!

One of my relative's husband worked for 2 hours (with company Y) while on H1 for company X.Company Y paid him a $100 stipend check.

No taxes were deducted from this check, and I guess no W2 was issued. However he is worried and wondering if there will be problem when his 485 comes up for processing. He filed his 485 about 4 months ago.

Please tell if this will be a problem, and is there a way to fix it. Please reply ASAP.Thanks.
 
Why this should be a problem ?
Your relative's husband got $100 from somewhere as a gift, why this and how this will stop him getting GC ?

Don't say that he worked for Y company, say Y company (or somebody) gave him $100 and there are no records of that in IRS. He is safe nothing to worry.
Since No W2 no IRS and also amount is also very small.
