There has been change in INS policy regarding use of AP now. Previously a person reentering US use to get I94 stamp till there 485 is adjusted but now Immigration officers are giveing only One year of validity stamp on I94 after that there are no regulation so a person reentering must hope that his 485 gets approved in 1 year . Do't know if he needs to extend that I94 or not. Anyone with any ideas or anyone who has used AP after 15 september.
 
I had used my AP in July'02 and got I94 without any end date. I don't know if this has changed recently.

this is useful info. So what will happen if a person's I-94 is expired and 485 not getting approved? Do you have some link
to this information or its based on your recent experience of AP usage?
