Dear i-485 experts:

Suppose you are using an attorney for our i-485, i-765, and i-131 applications, here are your questions:

Will INS send Receipt Notices (i-485, i-765, and i-131) to the attorney or us?

Will INS send RFEs to the attorney or us?

Will INS send Finger Print Notice to the attorney or us?

Will INS send i-485 approval notice to the attorney or us?

Can we use our company\'s address instead of our home address when we file our i-485? You know sometimes we
      need to change our apartments.

Can we use a friend\'s home address instead of our own home address when we file i-485? What if my friend\'s home
address belongs to TSC and my new company belongs to NCS?

How does an INS Service Center know you belong to its center? Based on your employment letter? Based on your
home address? Based on your i-140?

I will try to anwer your queries -

I think you need to use your current address as the INS sends out FP notices directing you to the local INS or FBI office.
The 485/EAD/AP receipt notices go to your attorney; everything else like RFE, FP and approval notices are sent to you; I guess, the attorney gets a copy too.
I am not sure as to how the service center is determined; I have read that the I-485 can be filed either with the service center where the company HQ is located or where the applicant is currently residing.
