Use RTD or Re-entry Permit ?

I want to know which travel document you have to use after getting your GC. Is it RTD or Re-entry permit if you don't have passport.

Any experience, suggession, please post.

You can use either RTD or Rentry Permit. Both are the green documents with different title inside. RTD valid for 1 year..Rentry permit Valid for 2 years....Both are the same document but Rentry Permit is aimed for people who want to be out of country for more than a year (if need arises)...

so when you enter back..they may ask you how long you have been out for..The above question is asked even if you were using your NP...
