Use PO Box as residential address during 485

As I know it is very likely that I will change address during my 485 petition, is that possible to put residential address as a PO box address?
Since INS use regular mail to deliver, technically it is feasible. Does anyone has similar experience? What is the hidden hazard?

I asked my lawyer the same thing..

I have a P.O.box and I asked my lawyer the same thing- if I could use my P.O.Box as my address- he suggested against doing so because he said the INS needs an actual residence address as one can easily get a P.O.Box any where even though he/she doesn\'t live in that area!
Makes sense to me.
If you are changing places, I was told that it is not so difficult to have your address changed with the INS. I haven\'t tried it so I\'m not sure how much hassle is involved in doing so.

From personal experience

It is easy to change the address with CSC, by calling the IIO and faxing an address change form.
But INS does not always send mail to the new address.
I changed my address in middle of Dec 2001 and thereafter confirmed the address change with the IIO on phone.
But still INS sent my wife\'s FP notice and my EAD to the old address in middle of Jan 2002. We then had to send two more faxes to INS to tell them their goof-up.
