Use of Representative

I am sponsoring my wife from India and using service of Immigration consultant. If I fill up the "Use of Representative" form will the Canadian Consulate contact me or my Representative regarding all the updates? Who will they contact to inform that the file have been transferred to Delhi? And who will the Delhi Consulate contact for any required documents or interview date or passport request?

This is really urgent can some one please respond...
