Use of pending years for H1B

Hello Rajiv ji,

I hope you are doing well.

I am currently residing in the UK with my family, left the job I had in the US on H1B in early 2023. I still have 4 years remaining out of the total 6 years that we get. Before my H1B got approved, I had to go on day 1 CPT (about 9 months), as my name in the lottery was showing pending status - instead not selected or selected and during this period there was a travel ban due to pandemic. Hence, I did not violate any law of overstaying but within sixty days of grace period, I was able to go from OPT STEM to F1 Day 1 CPT while still waiting on lottery result. There was another round of lottery that same year in 2020 and my name got picked in the second round that happened in August. This is my background info.

So, If I have a potential job opportunity for a job in the US with any former employer at present, is there any risk for me going through H1B filing due to current news going on with new administration (in terms of salary wage, etc? as my salary would be around 75k not above 100k), and if for say my petition approved then would I face any issues in the H1B visa interview?
