Use of AP

I have a family wedding to attend in UK. My I-485 is pending through my husband's work. I entered the US last time in 2004 on an H1. My H1 expired after 6 years in 2006. I am now on EAD.

My question is - can I make a trip to UK and enter the US using AP. I am an indian citizen.

Well, that's exactly what AP is for!

You must have it in hand before you leave though. And of course, you'll need your visa for the UK.
