I am going out of the US and will be entering back on AP. What are the supporting documents recommended to carry?

If you are travelling on AP its recommended to have a copy of your 485 filing papers, a letter from your employer that you are still employed after you get back, if you have a buisness card keep that, basically they will check to see your employmnet did not change, you should have your valid EAD card, sometimes H1 papers if you still have them, I went on AP in june , me my wife and my children upon arrival we were made to sit in another room and wait there for 1/2 hour depending upon the rush they did not ask anything from me, but there was another person in front of me in the same situation they asked all the things I mentioned.

Carry 4 or 5 copies of your AP. Every airline/country at every stop seems to want to have a copy. Also just to be sure carry a copy of your 485 Receipt. No one has ever asked me for it though. No one asked me for anything in all my trips except for a copy of the AP.
