I am in a peculiar situation. Any advice/suggestion would be of great help to us.
I am on H1-B visa and my 140 is approved. As the dates are current I can file my I-485 immediatley. My wife is on H1-B visa and my employer did file H4 for her in last 2 days.
What can we do now?
1. Shall we file her 485 as she is in H1 currently. Do we need any pay stubs for her? She is working as a consultant, and as she is not on a project she doesnt have any recent paystubs.
2. Or can we file her 485 with just H-4 receipt. We havent received one, but I am seeing If I can wait for that to file it.
Please let me know what are the viable things for us....
