The United States Department of State's latest Visa Bulletin for July 2005 states that visa numbers are unavailable for the Employment Based third Preference (EB3) category for persons of all nationalities. Therefore persons with approved Labor Certifications in the EB3 category cannot file for an Adjustment of Status (I-485) nor will the USCIS approve filed I-485 in the EB3 category. This will significantly increase the amount of time required to obtain permanent resident status.
