USCIS official processing dates vs actual processing dates

FYI, my representative called the USCIS yesterday and learned that even though the VSC processing date for I-485 is December 1, 2004, they said that my EB2 case since NOT being affected by retogression will be processed shortly (within a few weeks) even though my filing date was August 31, 2005. That tells me that the USCIS is well ahead of the official processing schedule assuming no problems with FP, etc. At least a little something to be excited about.

There is truth to that because my I-140 application was approved within 2 weeks at NSC back in August while NSC was announcing that they were processing applications from February. There is hope
