Just noticed new USCIS processing dates for grant of asylum more than a year ago posted on Jan 24th . Currently they are processing 11/2000.

my brother,we are in this for a ride.i saw it myself and said if that is the case how come we see 2001,2003,2004 and 2005 getting approved ?if they do not go by order,they will bypass many applications.an applicant sends application wait for years before they start asking you to do finger print and ref.they make you wait again for so-called name check.they should do all check while the application waits for years or they should have fbi agent in every cis office to do the checks.thank god for what we got,but once a person starts a process you wants finish with it .you just don't want to be in total darkness not knowing what is going on,you can't even call and get answer.we are in this for a ride.man you don't sleep? you are all over the thread,we gonna make it god willing.atique rahman said:
I can not believe that they are processing I-485 for refugees who filed in March 2005, That BS. I filed my application a year before that date, I have not got shit. Why they have to post BS on the website and say we are working. such bustards liers just good for BSing and slacking around and blame it over FBI's namechecks.

But brother don't get upset nor hopeless just keep trying every possible way to present us not as any case files or numbers but actual human beings.
As I mentioned in my earlier posts instead of calling USCIS & wasting time rather ask for congressional help from your local Senator.
I wrote to my Senator & his office replied me back. Seems like something is happening. I received a RFE & LUD changed to 01/10/2006 where else last LUD change was back in July,2005. So for sure there is something going on. Lets hope for the best.

Yes, I did already to Congresswoman. Her office sent a letter to INS, then two LUD, after that nothing ( or my lawyer's three months ago letter worked). Maybe another 2 years for me. or Maybe you get USA citizenship, at that time, I could get G/C.

Your last one was on end of last year. Don't go by that but go by the 2004 one as far as name checks go. Cause if we look at this matter the most current one & the way ( what you are saying) FBI name check backlog that way none will get their name checks done & everybody has to wait yrs & yrs but that's not right for sure cause we sure see waves of approval every weeks. I don't know if I could make myself clear about this issue. But I bet you don't have to wait that long.
I don't know what's my status of name checking deal but I sure have a feeling it's cleared & that's what the reason I received my final RFE right before approval. Lets see if my assumption is true.
It's really hard to predict the way USCIS handles cases so differently but if we look at different cases all we can do is just compare other's case with ours & look for a solution. Now one could be right or simply wrong.
What's my part of understanding is NAME CHECK/ 10,000 CAPS/BACK LOGS/RFE all these are just some lame excuses USCIS gives us just to avoid to mention we are not doing our job on time. If this was a third world country we were talking about that could make some senses but not for United States where this country can even sit here & see through satelite system about things going on in other parts of the world. Doesn't it sound silly when the tecnology has gone so far in this country & here in 2006 we are dealing with name checking back logs !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
So please don't loose hope & you are not going to wait that long before you get your GC. Especially since you requested congressional help & as you mentioned your congress woman already made an enquiry about your case. I bet those efficient IO's must now look at your file more closely. Cause they don't care us that's true but they don't have no choices to avoid congressional intervention.
Trust me I am not giving you false hopes but I have a good feeling we are not far from the shore. Pretty soon we'll see ground as all sailors hope to see in the middle of an ocean.

Morning, you are not far from that either. As soon you mail them that RFE you will receive your approval mail & GC. All these older applicants (2000/2001) receiving RFE is a real good sign that them people would receive approval letter soon.

Thanks. I wish you were right. Look at the folks like faysal, who had their cases transferred back to the asylum office many months ago and they are still waiting. Some had interview a long time ago and do not even know where their cases are physically located. It's getting even messier for me. Unfortunately.
