I received the messages below from USCIS.

"On April 05, 2005, we responded to your request for more information concerning your case. If you have not received our response within 30 days from this date, please call customer service at 1-800-375-5283."

I did make an enquiry about my 485 case a month ago and then I got this message in an eamil this month. I thought that USCIS generally does not send emails for enquiry. My question is: Is this a RFE? or just USCIS's reply for my enquiry?

I called my lawyer asking him if he had received any query and he said he has not received any query so far.

Its just a message for your inquiry. You should also receive a letter in the mail.
 
itis just stating that you have enquired and they have responded to it, bacically there are lot of different messages in the lette they send for inquiry, but all of them one same thing is " wiat", mine is almost 60 days old message and still no letter did not bother to call so far
 
I have also received same kind of message. I just got letter of explaination about my enquiry a week after the email. It is not an RFE.
