USCIS I 485 notification before Code 3 FP.......weird???

My wife recevied her FP code 3 notice for I 485 on 2/2/06, FP is due on Mar 2, 2006. I have not heard anything from USCIS about my FP or I 485.

Later on Feb 23, 06 I-485 update (for my wife)was:

"On February 23, 2006, the document we made based on the approval or registration of this case was mailed directly to the person to whom issued"

We are totally confussed!! What does this means????

Any information will help us a great deal.

Check the I-485 TSC thread. There have been a lot of people receiving their biometrics appt and then receiving this message. It seems for most people it is not an approval notice but rather indicating that your biometrics appt was mailed out or something along those lines. Would be great if it was an approval but it hasn't been for some people in the 485 forum
