USCIS: How to reach a real customer rep?

Hi,

I have to call USCIS to ask a question about the recent request from USCIS. There is only number 1-800 375 5383, and i don't find any option where it says "You are transfered to a customer representative".

Does any one knows which options i have to choose to get to real customer rep?

You have to be patient and choose your type of petition and related questions one by one by following the automated instruction. Eventually, you will find an option that transfer your call to a live person. I was put on hold for over 30 minutes before someone will answer your call.

When you called a main number pick a option that mention a change address, then in a very short time customer representative will answer.
You can say that you don't want to change address but you have a question regarding your case.
Make sure that you have your receipt number.
This always worked for me & I probobly called them ten times in 2 years period.
But they won't have too many answers for you. They will read you exacly what is available online.
