dont file electronically.
File paper application. It is lot faster than filing electronically. If you search forum, you will find lot of people saying samething. Paper filed EAD is lot faster than electronically filed EAD.

My experience says you better file by paper. I had problem with the credit card processing. I have to waste money by sending the payment again. Also you can make mistakes easily online. The most important thing is that its slow. It took 4 months for me when many applicants filed by paper got their EAD approved within 2 months. Go for paper filing.
