I went for FP today and I noticed when the officer scanned my FP notice, I saw my details in her system that my SSN number entered as wrong (The data entry person at USCIS made a typo on my SSN). I showed my SSN card and she corrected in the system, I asked her do I need to call USCIS regarding this and let them know my SSN entered as wrong, she said I corrected in the system so it will OK you don't need to worry.
But I wanted to make sure USCIS has correct details of mine, as Background check and name check they do it on Name and SSN and DOB.
To make sure I called USCIS customer service immediately after my FP done and talked to one of their representative, she told me she can not look that information in her system and asked me take info pass appointment and talk to the immigration officer. I made an info pass appointment tomorrow.
Does any body in similar situation? Any suggestions.
By the way my actual FP appointment was next week I just went today to see whether they will accept any walk-ins and they did it, no questions asked just looked the FP notice that’s it.
