USCIS Case update system has gone completely CRAZY!

So... I received 8 (that's right, EIGHT) emails in quick succession this afternoon, all within the space of two minutes, and all saying exactly the same thing -- that my EAD application had been approved. This is after the 3 identical emails that I received yesterday morning saying that my EAD card had been ordered. (One would assume that if they ordered the EAD card, the EAD application had been approved -- but apparently not!) By the way, these were the very first emails I received from them, even though I had set up my account with them right after I got my receipt notices.

I'm finding it hard to be the object of so much love from the USCIS. It's almost stalkerish , and is difficult to make sense of after all the neglect from the case update system so far.

Is this happening to anyone else -- the strange increase in the number of emails from CRIS?

I would think that USCIS should have caught on by now that launching 10 successive emails triggers people's spam filters.

Well, I guess all that activity was for a reason. I got my EAD card in the mail today. Yay!
What else did you expect after getting 13 emails telling you your EAD was coming?

didn't get 8 emails but I got 6 emails in total. 3 telling me that my EAD was approved and sent.
