USCIS cant find my case number

I am getting this weird message for my receipt number:
"The status for this Receipt Number cannot be found at this time in this automated system. Please check your case receipt number to see if it is correct. If you have questions or concerns about your case status, please contact the National Customer Service Center."

This is happening since this morning. Till yesterday it was fine ( it said - we responed to your query on Aug 2nd.... blah blah). Anyone else getting this message ? Any ideas on what this might be. ? Same thing is happening with my wife's receipt number too.

Take a deep breath and try some other diversion like spending time time family

Nothing to be worried about. This has happened to lot of folks here. Try may be after a couple of days, it will show up and may be you might get a surprise approval notification.

If you still are the types who will steadfastly worry about it every moment, then I suggest you prepare to spend an hour or more on the phone with National Customer Service Center (number is available on the case status page) and talk to them. Before talking to them, have all the details about your WAC#s, A#s, dates of filing, receipt date information very handy so that you can have a to the point discussion with the person at the other end of USCIS phone whenever (s)he shows up on the phone.

Exactly the same for me and my wife too :
"Case not found ..." on the phone and "Responded to inquiry ..." online

LUD changed several times in the last week of July and first week of Aug and yet not even FP2.

My status on the phone system has been that way (case not found) for over a month now. About USCIS one can never distinguish between a bug and a feature.
