USCIS automatically rescheduled FP

My wife got her 2nd FP done on Sep 14. However, last week we received a notice from USCIS saying that 'on our request' they have rescheduled her FP to Dec 1st. We never made any such reqeust.

I then called up FBI and found that her FP results were sent back to USCIS on Sep 14 itself.

Does any one has any idea or experience with USCIS re-scheduling FP when we never made any such request? ANy comments on this situation

I think she does not need to do fingerprints again because she has done. Just keep the receipt of fingerprints in a safe place for the future.

i got the same thing this month

so i wrote them a letter with the worksheet i got from newark office. but don't know the result yet.
