Usage Of Ead!

Hi Forum,
I need start using EAD since my 8th year extension of h1 will be expired in a couple of days.
What is the procedure, just give the employer a copy of my EAD or other things involved?

All you need is to fill out the form I-9, attach a copy of your EAD and send it over to your HR.

I did not do anything as per my attorney's instructions. I am with the same firm. I was with the same firm who applied my H1-B and later GC.

My H1-B expired and I got my EAD before expiry of the H1-B.
