me and my wife are indian citizens
I\'\'m working here in usa on H1-B and my wife is here on H-4
Our son was born here in usa in the year 2000, and has a USA passport
We want to visit india in april2001

Do we need to get to entry visa for india stamped on his USA passport
or can we get his name entered on his mother/father passport as he has dual citizenship (because parents are indian) and that will be enough to enter india?

Lokesh. There is no such thing as dual citizenship for India/USA. My brother was in the exact situation you were in. He had to get a visa for his 3 month old son, to go to India.

There is another option, I belive. It is called PIO (people of Indian Origin) certificate. It used to cost about $1000. If you get one of those for your child, he/she can go and come just like Indian citizens. But, I don\'t know anyone that has that. Just too expensive.
