USA Born kids of Indian Parents

me and my wife are indian citizens
I\'\'m working here in usa on H1-B and my wife is here on H-4
Our son was born here in usa in the year 2000, and has a USA passport
We want to visit india in april2001
 
Do we need to get to entry visa for india stamped on his USA passport
or can we get his name entered on his mother/father passport as he has dual citizenship (because parents are indian) and that will be enough to enter india?

All you need is to get a visa for your child from the nearest indian Consulate. I have done it for my child back in 98. You can just download teh application form from the web and send it to the consulate along with the passport(just go through the instrucions). You can find the site by searching for "Indian consulate" or "Indian Embassy" in yahoo. Hope this helps
