I know this off topic but I also know that I will get the best answers here..

I am trying to buy visitor's insurance for my mother. Please share if anybody
have any experiences on this one. I heard pre-existing illness is not covered.

What if she has medical issues resulting due to her pre-existing condition. does it mean that we pay from our pocket and insruance we took is useless ?

It is possible they will not cover pre-existing condition.
Try to contact one of the insurance companies who provide visitor-insurance and ask them.
