I scheduled appointment for US vistor visa in Toronto office on June 19th.
My Canadian PR card will be expiring on Oct20th,2008.I am planning to submit PR card renewal application soon but not expecting will receive the new PR card before June 19th
My Indian PP is valid for next 9 years, could US visa officer reject my visa application because my Canadian PR will be expiring within 6 months of US visa issuance?Could any one please send me any info related to US visa and dependency with Canadian PR card expiry date.Btw I applied for Canadian citizenship in Jan 2007 in Montreal but whole thing got delayed as my file will tarnsfer to Ontario now.
Thanks for your help.

Regards,
Ani

-- There is no relation of your PR card expiry date and getting the US visa. The PR card is expiring on the said date, not your status. PR card just enables you to travel back to Canada and is the confirmation of your status. You are good to go - good luck!
