Hello Friends,

I need info on Toursit visa to USA. Basically I want to know

1. What interview questions can be asked ?
2. Incase of the the applicant for visa is not able to speak good English, will an interpreter help?
3. I have heard that showing proof of return say property is a MUST.Incase the applicant does not have a property of her own/children and neither a job then how can he/she convince the visa officer of his/her intentions to go back and not stay in US?

Prompt response is highly appreciated!

i am assuming you are applying from canada

here's what you need to take
1) pay stubs indicating you work in canada
2) tax returns of past yrs if you have any
3) bank statements of few months with money flow
4) some rental/lease statement
5) get a letter from your employer as an addition
6) when i went to apply for my visa, i had been out of work for 3 months but i had just received a job offer letter which is all what the immigration officer concentrated on although i did have 4/5 paystubs from 6/7 months back
7) if you can't get a offer letter either and dont work, enroll in some community class and whilst in the middle of the program, get a letter from the school indicating what you'r learning and how long the program is and your regular attendance

questions you might be asked
1) how long you been in canada
2) if you been there close to or more than 3 yrs, are you filing foryour citizenship? if so when?
3) where's your family
4) who's in the US
5) when you going to US
(i said i dont know and the lady was like, so why are you here, i said coz the wait for visa is so long i just wanted to keep it in case i have to go suddenly)
6)how long you plan to stay and who you visiting

all the above is to get the visa

when you hit the border, expect most of the questions yet again. they expect to see your paystubs at the border *yet again*!!

if you are taking bus, train or flying to US, the return ticket is your proof of entering back into US

travel light since most people i've seen checked were with lots of luggage.

hope this helps.

and if they stopped her because they said she was going to see me and they told her that she would need a immigrant visa to come into USA
they told her to file for a i-130 and 2 g325a that takes like couple years since am a resident of usa and also me when i went last time to canada they told me the same but let me threw
now she can't come or i can't go
and i have the proof to show
there has got to be a shorted way than waiting 2 years or so
