Is the signature in the US passport by the citizen should be (a) the full name signature as signed in the Naturalization Certificate or (b) the normal signature as used for bank checks and other normal transactions?

Shall appreciate response to clear my doubt.

The "normal" signature you use daily to sign your checks, credit card slips, etc.

Hello All,
This question is for the people who made their passport, since my wife will have her citizenship certificate on June 01 and have to apply for the passport ASAP. What other documents she will need? I.e. original country birth certificate and driver license and others, please let us know?
Also since she is changing her name, does she need to change the driver license to reflect the new name before applying for the passport and how long that could take? All you input is highly appreciated.
Thanks,
Sams68

When we applied for Passport, we sent only the original Naturalization certificate and the check along with the application. We got the Passports.
In the post office they asked for Driver's Licnese only for identification.

I do not know about procedure for the change of name in the driver license.

Since she changed her name she will submit the naturalization certificate and Court paper attached to the certificate showing the name change. Both will be send to Department of State for processing the Passport.

We applied for passport last week with a name change on my spouse's naturalization certificate. The US passport office accepted the application with the name change. She did warn us though, that while attempting to travel, the name on the driver's license should match the name on the ticket. We're planning to apply for name change on the driver's license shortly (with the photocopied nat cert).
