Us Passport Received

I just received my US PASSPORT in the mail today. it cost me $85 and took me 14 days.They also retuened me my certificate of citizenship along with the new passport.

i received my passport within 14 days ,no express mail or extra charges ,i followed somebody advice ,they said it takes 6 weeks to process,but in fact (and i am not the only one ) it takes generaly about two weeks .so ,unless its an emergency don't waiste your money

During the oath ceremony we were told that we have to go to the local courhouse (in our own township where we reside) in person first time when we apply for the US passport.
Is this true or we can send it by mail as well?

that what i did ,i went to the county clerk office ,she gave me a form to fill up ,paid 30$and an additional of 50$.
they will tell it may take 6 weeks ,but in fact its 14 days .
don't waiste you moey in overnight mail or expediate mail service unless its an emergency .good luck
