My oath ceremony is next week and I intend to apply for a passport the same day. I understand that there's the option of applying for a passport right there where the oath ceremony has taken place, however there's the expedite extra charge and I don't plan on traveling before the end of May.
So I'm wondering what are some real experiences of applying through regular processing in Houston. Are there any faster USPS offices (somebody said the downtown office is faster)? What was your wait? Thanks in advance.
