Hi,
I am a landed immigrant in Canada and still 2 more years to go before I can apply for Canadian Citizenship. My green card is under processing with I-140 cleared and it has been forwarded for consular processing. The priority date suddenly became current this month. Few questions which I had:
1. Can I still delay the Green Card process or do I need to go through with the green card process. We are in the process of adopting a child and cannot risk to loose the Canadian PR status.
2. Will there be any issues if we go ahead with the green card process and maintain both US Green Card and Canadian PR.
3. Can we add the child in our green card at a later stage.
