US Entry Denied at Canada US Land Border

My family has valid H4 visa but denied entry last week from Niagra border. They have confirmed flight out of US, can they re-try entry before 2 days of their flight departure from US?
Earlier reason provided by CBP officer is that I was not accompanying them due to awaiting security clearance for my new H1B visa stamping for 7th yr extension from Toronto canada.

Guys here is another example of CBP stupidity. Today they allowed my family to enter in US. The difference is the person who is sitting at border and mis-using his authority. Shame on these kind of person who make innocent people who always want to be legal . These kind of people are making Custom & Border patrol bad infront of all.
