I have a question about an Citizenship for my kid.
He got his Green Card in 2013. He used to live with grandparents in India and moved permanently to US in 2015 after completing his 12th grade.
After moving to the US he again went back to India in 2017 to do his B.Tech, 4 Years JNTU 2017 to 2021.
So every year he came to the US in summer and went back to India to complete his education.
India Stay: 05/2018 - 05/2019 (364 days)
India Stay: 06/2019 - 07/2020 (383 days) - COVID no transportation and beyond 365 days
India Stay: 08/2020 - 08/2021 (362 days)
India Stay: 08/2021 - 01/2022 (153 days)
Mexico Stay: 12/2022 - 12/2022 (4 days)
We are planning to file for his US Citizenship.
Will his stay in India have an impact on his citizenship?
How do we address this situation when filing for US Citizenship?
