US Citizen wants to marry a Resident but has a problem

OK, I would like to marry this girl. She is already in the US, and has resident status. She wants to become a citizen, but she is concerned that because I have a Criminal History that she will be denied. I looked at the USCIS site and found no reference to my needing to have good moral character. It looks to be only a requirement for the person applying for naturalization.

Could somebody clear this up for me?

Thanks

She needs to be the only person with good moral character. How long has she been a green card holder? I don't think she needs to be married to a US citizen to be eligible for naturalization.

However, you should be careful that you don't corrupt her... :D As the saying goes, bad company corrupts good character...

Cheers,
