US Citizen applying for wife's GC

Hi all,

Recently I got my citizenship process done, will be getting
my US passport in a couple of weeks.

I would like to know what the process is to apply for my
wife's green card. She is on H-1 right now.

We got married in 2004 when I was on GC and I waited
till I become citizen to apply for her GC.

If I apply for her GC now as a US citizen, how long does
it take for her to get GC.

The good news is your wife's GC will be Family First Preference (no waiting for a visa number), but the bad news is namecheck still applies, so its impossible to say how long the process may take. Maybe 4-6 months, maybe longer.
