US Citinzen requesting Parent

Guidance please.

I just became a US Citizen and I’m planning to request my mom. She arrived in the US in 2002 as a Visitor B1/B2 and stayed.

Would this be a problem?
Would she need to leave the country?
Can the process be done here in USA?

1) Only if she leaves the country before the GC is approved.
2) She MUST NOT, leave the country.

I've been reading other people experiences and it looks like everyone has sent all forms at the same time.

I-130, I-485, I-131, I-765.

Are their any negatives for doing this?

I'm just concerned that her 6 months stay expired in 2002.
