I am one of the 2001 filers waiting for AD. I have contacted senator’s office and yet really no impact except letting me know that my file is under review. Today when I spoke to the senator’s office, I was telling her about how we 2001 filers have waited very long and that there are applicants in 2002 and 2003 receiving their AD’s. She could not believe that and said that BCIS only processes on a chronological order.

Guys...if there is any one who is a 2002, 2003 filer who is willing to write to my senators office about their case...preferably some one EB -2, I would greatly appreciate it. That's the only way she said she could prove that BCIS is not processing in a chronological fashion. Even one person will make a difference. So please help.....

You don't have to depend on the replies from the user community. No one wants to reveal their identity.

It is better to show them the processing dates which is available on the USCIS web site. and let them know.

The easiest would be to direct them to the USCIS web site where they state
that they are processing applications dated January, 07 2004. Those are the official numbers released by USCIS.

...trying to prove that they are processing other '02 and '03 cases is probally not going to get you very far....they will give some bullshit story like security reasons...
 
You can use the VB scanner and get maybe a 100 applications in 2002 and send her that info also.

namu - there used to be a way to automatically scan through thousands of applicaitons. I have an old one. I stopped scanning once mine got approved. :) Here is the file. Click Tools > Macros > I485 scan > Run.

It asks for the year and date. Put 02-xxx (this number should be of april or may or whatever).

You can scan maybe 500 numbers and find out the SRC #s of 485 that have been approved.
