Gurus,
I\'m also going thru this tedious GC process. In the mean time, I\'m completing my 180 days soon. I\'ve not received my salary paystubs for over a month.
I will talk to my lawyer, but I would like to hear from you guys.
I may get RFE in the future. What shall I do? How shall I proceed?
Thanks in advance?

I think if your employer is not going to pay you - you should just change jobs. My lawyer has indicated that changing jobs after 180 days will not be a problem as long as your current employer gives you a letter for intent to hire after GC. Also, recent pay stubs will be required incase RFEd. And it looks like 8/10 are being RFEd

Don\'t get screwed by your employer just because you filed your I485 thru him. Just move on and take a job where you can get paid. INS might issue an RFE for paystubs and employer letter and producing it from a company other than the sponsor will cause no problems. All they want is to see if you are getting paid and that you should not become a burden on the system (as if sucking Social Security money out of \'non-immigrants\' isnt enough).

I have seen cases on the board where people have given letter from a different employer and still got approved.

Cheer up

Thanks for reply...
But how to tell the employer to let me go, with good intent to return? They are struggling to get financial support from others. They may not give me the letter of intent. I certainly don\'t have paystubs of over a month to apply for H1 transfer. Any more info?
Thanks!

What are you talking about? The 180 day job change has no become a rule yet, or has it ??
