Urgent! Would INS contact the writer of the experience verification letter?

Hi,

For 140 application, one of my fiends who wrote an experience verification letter for me
before, is going to move back to India for personal reasons this week, and will
not come back to the US again.

So his contact information on the experience letter will NO LONGER
be valid (I believe phone will be disconnected and mail will be returned).

Would INS actully call him or mail him a letter?

Does anyone have an experience?

I am so worried as I do not know how to do.
 
Sometimes they do check if the minimum requirement in your LC asks for some amount of experience.
 
I dont think so they did. I had my experience letter of Pakistan address.. offcourse they didnt contact any of them.
 
I have another twist to this question. I am planning to oprovide experience letters.

Can I provide an experience letter from someone who I have not worked with at all? The reason is I worked for a company in 1996 and I do NOT have contact even a single person there. They have all moved out.

I was planning to use a friend who knew that I was working in a company from a particular start date to end date? Would this be acceptable? Does anyone foresee any issues or have had experience similar to mine?

Is Skill set matching is important?

Similar quesiton.
Does the skill sets mentioned in the Labour should be same/mentioned in the experience letter? I am planning to use a pre approved labour and half of the skill sets mentioned in the labour is not matching my skill sets. Ofcourse i can try to get the exp letter from my current employer to say that i worked in those areas as well. But the new employer who is filing GC (Using the pre approved labour) says that i don't need to get the exp letter with all the skill sets in it. It is just enough to get exp letter saying that i am software engineer or programmer analyst wroking for them since some date and earning this much money? Would that be enough?

How many years of experience was required in your case? How many years u have in total and how many years was overseas?
