Hi,

For 140 application, one of my fiends who wrote an experience verification letter for me
before, is going to move back to India for personal reasons this week, and will
not come back to the US again.

So his contact information on the experience letter will NO LONGER
be valid (I believe phone will be disconnected and mail will be returned).

Would INS actully call him or mail him a letter?

Does anyone have an experience?

I am so worried as I do not know how to do.

I would highly doubt that they would. Can the company your friend works for vouch for you? If by some remote chance they do, they'll send you an RFE, and you can give them the updated contact info for that company.

thats true. I don't think they would check all this. They have too much of work to do, they wouldn't bother to check the authenticity of your experience letter. Or atleast I haven't seen any thread in this forum regarding this issue.

In my case, one of the company was closed few years back. But still my I-140 was approved without any problem.

don't worry too much.

All my employers from whom I got my employment letters (4 in total) have all closed down or been bought up by other companies. I doubt the USCIS officer would expect your references to be in existence, especially after all the turmoil these days.
